Shot guerilla-style in many found locations, we used color to fix the skin tones and overall colors, which mixed light sources had muddled. We also did a lot of work to draw focus, reduce distractions we had no control over (like the woman’s head in the subway) and to create a raw, yet realistic grade that matched the protagonist’s inner mental journey.
